The Gel Edit

This beginner friendly course lays the foundations for a confident, professional start in the nail industry. You'll gain essential knowledge in hygiene, salon safety and how to maintain a clean, professional environment - with a strong focus on nail anatomy, common conditions and how to recognise when it's safe (or not) to carry out treatments.

We'll cover how to carry out confident client consultations, spot potential irritations or allergic reactions and tailor your services to each individual.

On the practical side, you'll master perfect nail prep, seamless gel polish application and the art of the classic french. You'll also learn how to give solid aftercare advice and how to safely remove gel to protect the natural nail.

To support you beyond the salon, we'll share social media and photography tips to help you showcase your work - plus trusted product recommendations to keep your results consistent and professional.

By the end of The Gel Edit Course, you'll be confident delivering high quality gel polish treatments and ready to begin building your career as a nail tech.

Location: Nova the Label Private Studio (Menstrie, Scotland)
Approximately 10:00am-16:00am hours

You'll receive unlimited support throughout your training day to ensure you leave feeling confident and ready to take on clients - and the support doesn't end there. Ongoing guidance is available after your course whenever you need it.

On the day, you'll work on your own hands and a live model for practical learning. A full kit will be provided, so there's no need to bring anything with you.

Once you've successfully completed the course, you'll receive a certificate that's fully accredited by ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists). This allows you to gain insurance and begin working professionally.
